This photo was taken at Wilson Lake in Kansas. I am a novice photographer and decided to take a chance and play with techniques with this photo and this is what I got.Time
This photo was taken while just strolling one evening watching the sunset across the lake. I had just got a new camera and was taking pictures of just about everything that caught my eye. This was one of my favorites.Lighting
This photo was at sunset there were some dark spots and when I decided to play with it, I wanted to make it look like a painting and mix the gorgeous colors a bit together.Equipment
This camera was from about 7 years ago it was the first camera I played with. A kodak easy shot with 32x zoom. No fancy features I was just having fun with it.Inspiration
I love the sunsets, they are gorgeous and mysterious at times. My favorite is sunsets over water. I can't get enough of shots like this.Editing
I am self taught and to be honest I don't know a lot about post-processing, I obviously played with this photo using some brush techniques to make it look like a painting. Other than that just playing with lighting and colors, at some point maybe I will be able to develop those skills better. In my camera bag
Right now I am using a Cannon T5IFeedback
My advise is to take pictures of things you enjoy. Don't be scared to try new things, I did and wound up with great feedback. Not every picture as you take it will look like a masterpiece find what you like in the picture and work on it from there in editing. Just enjoy your scenery and keep a good eye, watch angles and distance to create something exciting.
