Location
I took this photo in Carpathian Mountains, Romania, Europe.Time
In a cloudy summer afternoon, I was looking for some interesting perspectives on the mountain paths, when suddenly, this magic sun rays offered me a wonderful subject. It lasts only for a couple of seconds, so I needed to be fast choosing the settings of my camera....Lighting
The wind was quite strong and the clouds were running quickly above my head. The lighting conditions were continuously and fast changing.Equipment
For shooting, I used my tripod as a monopod, supporting my equipment: Nikon D5300 and Sigma 18-35mm 1.8 DC.Inspiration
I love to be in the middle of nature, in any place... It may be the top of the mountain, far away on the sea, or inside a cave !....Editing
I post processed the photo with Lightroom 5.In my camera bag
My usual equipment in nature: Nikon D5300, Sigma 18-35 1.8 and Tamron 70-200 2.8. For macro shots, I'm using Sigma 105 2.8.Feedback
These quick changing weather conditions are giving you a lot of opportunities, for interesting, dramatic shots! But, what you need is some patience and preparation of the equipment, for not losing that great moments... A bit of anticipation for the moment is also welcome!
