Yes I agree about the color. Excellent capture. Can I ask how you achieved this look?

Anyone who has visited Inle Lake would have seen this. This guy poses for money all day/everyday, sure the composition is nice, but its not original or unique. I hope you at least tipped him.

One of the most beautiful silhouettes that I've had the pleasure of seeing! Congratulations!

Location
The photo was taken from another boat on Inle Lake in the beautiful Myamnar.Time
I took the photo at the end of a day spent out on a boat around Inle Lake. We had hired the boat and guide for a day and just happened to be returned at sunset. This more not specifically planned but we did get a little lost during one of the stops earlier in the day which made us a little late.Lighting
The sun was just starting to set as we where returning and the guide stopped at this fisherman who was hanging around for tourists out on the lake. Both the guide and fisherman where very helpful and happily waited until the sun was just setting behind the hills.Equipment
My Sony NEX-5N and Sony 18 - 55 mm zoom lens, I like this little sony as the body and lenses are small and light so easily carried around all day when out exploring, even in hot sunny dusty days in Myanmar!Inspiration
It is a classic photo to take on the lake, in 10 years if Myanmar is filled with bus loads of tour groups this image will become a cliché, at least I got my in early.Editing
Yes I use GIMP to post process, not much with this photo just a little adjustment to colour levels and contrast to enhance the colours. In my camera bag
My Sony EX5-N has been replaced by the newer Sony A6000, which is slightly bigger, more features but still uses the same e-mount lenses. The A6000 is now my preferred camera however I want something smaller I still use the NEX5-N or even my old NEX3 as it will comfortably fit in a coat pocket with a 3mm lens.Feedback
Just always be on the look out for a photo, even after a long day taking hundreds of photos if might be the end of the day before you get the one. Also bring a spare battery, you don't want to miss the miss the shot because your battery is flat!
