I've been taking photos of my sister, Yamée, for many years now, she's like a muse to me. I love this bonding moment that we have, one feeling good in front of the camera, the other behind, no conflict just the perfect combination.

Location
I took this picture in the country side of the eastern part of France (in Lorraine).Time
It was in August, during a warm day of summer. While a few of us decided to go fishing in a small river, my sister (on the photo) and I took the camera to have fun nearby. We tried a few things (including playing with the local cows). At some point, a big summer storm was approaching, and we embraced it until we were literally completely wet.Lighting
In this photo, I relied only on natural lighting. The sky was getting grey, so I didn't have that much light coming in the lens, especially that I needed a high shutter speed to catch the hair movement.Equipment
I took this photo with a Canon 7D and a Canon lens 17-40, nothing else. Oh yes, my eyes as well, the best tool!Inspiration
My sister has a been a source of inspiration since I remember taking photos. She is now an actress and singer, and I'm a filmmaker/photographer, so our "partnership" ended up working quite well. Unfortunately, we currently live really far away from each other (she's in Paris and I'm in San Diego), so every-time we meet we always end up having some camera fun. This was the case for this photo where we met in our family country house in France.Editing
I always edit my photos, mostly so they are more representative of the real moment and ambiance. In this case, I did some color editing on Lightroom and then a few last touch ups on Photoshop (mostly with the dodge tool). In my camera bag
If I'm not just with my camera and lens, and that I actually took a bag, I have 3 lenses (17-40, 50mm, 100-300), 3 cards, 3 batteries, some cleaning tools, a mini tripod and usually some kind of finger light or laser to have fun doing some light painting.Feedback
Just feel it. The importance is to have fun taking photos, and then if you feel you're on to something you like, try different settings. When working with natural lighting, you really have to work with the combination of your f, your shutter speed and ISO. In a way, it's not huge, there's not thaaaaat many possibilities. In this case, I had to prioritize my shutter speed, so I adjusted my ISO and f according to my speed needs. Think outside the box, and don't think in advance about your money shot, it will come naturally.
