There is an awesome story behind this photo. Ok so me and my dad we went to this awesome monument in Delhi, India by the name of Lotus Temple.Time
That day I couldn't manage to get one good shot of the monument in the day light. But at the sun came down I could get so much out of the same monument. By the time it was completely dark around 8-9 P.M. I clicked this shot and it has come out beautifully.Lighting
Being a monument the light it up after 6 P.M. and I had clicked this shot around 8. Now due to the lighting I had an amazing view from all the side of the temple. I took a walk around the temple looking for the most dramatic light I could see and here it is.Equipment
I used a Canon 1200D on tripod then with a basic 18-55mm Lens.Inspiration
It was just my dad. He has no knowledge about Photography but what he say is "Capture the Moment, Photograph will Follow". I keep this in mind whenever I go for photography and my photos turn out pretty well.Editing
Now it was winter time so I there was some fog using photoshop I reduced the fog. You might be able to see a little bit of blur on the left. I also added some contrast and a bit of lighting. Also I duplicated it, reversed it and flipped it upside down to give it a look of reflection. In my camera bag
Normally you would find My camera (Canon 1200D), My lenses (18-55mm, 55-250mm, 50mm, 28-70mm(really old lens)), I carry a case for my spectacles, I carry a lens cleaning kit with me, some extra memory card, some extra batteries and.... More or less this is it.Feedback
Other photographers should not be trying to copy someone else's work they should have some originality. But I wouldn't mind sharing details for it. First of all go have a look around your subject both in Light as well as Dark. Find the most dramatic area of your subject, maybe the one that attracts you more. Click that side. Open photoshop and do the basic edits.
