Location
The photo was taken during the week I spent with a fox family with six brothers and sisters in the countryside in Western Lithuania.Time
I was using the magical light only in the evenings when the foxes becoming more active, it was spectacular to watch them playing. I had only 3-4 hours before each sunset, so I make my best to take this photo.Lighting
In the evening the foxes usually still using the shadows to camouflage them selfs and the brighter light on the meadow behind them give me the opportunity to get very nice photos.Equipment
This was shot on Canon EOS 7D and EF 300mm f2.8L IS USM from a tripod usin 1.4x TC.Inspiration
I always wanted to take photo of wild foxes, and the day I found the place they like to stay during the afternoon expired me to take some of my best wildlife photos.Editing
Recently I use LightRoom to PP my photos so I just made some regular editing, sliding some of the settings, clarity, NR and etc.In my camera bag
I always us my Canon EOS 7D, and if not going home for while I use EOS40D for backup, EF 17-40mm L USM for landscape, EF 100mm f2,8 USM for macro and TCs with EF 300mm f 2,8L IS USM. 50mm f2,8 L USM.Feedback
Taking photos of wild animals is very responsible job, my advice is to get position so the wind is against you, to make small gaps between every session and get closer to the subject step by step. You need to make a lot of photos and keep shooting the same subject if you want to make award winning photography.
