Behind The Lens

Location

It was in Lanaudière, province of Québec, Canada.

Time

It was early in the morning, the sun was low in the horizon, so the light was soft at this time.

Lighting

This is a kind of scene where the light is perfect for this kind of subjects, because If the sun is high in the sky, the light is too harsh and It's impossible to avoid overexposing. Her the sun was low, and the light is uniform.

Equipment

At this time, I had a Nikon D-300, with the 70-200mm F/2.8 Sigma. The photo was taken at 200mm, F/7.1, ISO 800.

Inspiration

I am a bif fan of reflections in water, and in automn, this is the party out there! When I saw these beautiful reflections in the water, I was so excited, and It was great to have these 2 white ducks to enhance the composition!

Editing

What I did is quite simple, I add contrast and color adjustment in Lightroom, nothing too elaborate, because all was already there in the photo.

In my camera bag

Today I have a Nikon D-750, and I have always these 3 lenses: 24-70mm F/2.8, 70-200mm F/2.8, and also my favorite Sigma 105mm Macro F/2.8!

Feedback
