Nice fine art shot. Perfect composition!

Thank you. It was quite an adventure to take this photograph. A wave passed over the peer a few inches from my back and over my son's head that was sitting against the peer wall getting hos camera ready. We selected a dry patch of the peer in between the wet ones as we knew the waves would reach that point only if the sea would get even stormy, so other than some splashes visible in my lens and sea mist, all went well and we returned to a safer place. That was not however the case for that young couple that is seen next to lighthouse ... they were at our side and decided to move further ahead, and especially the man, they got significantly wet. I know the sea at this point and thus know when to stop, keep the distance.

Thanks for viewing and detailing. Indeed the place is quite active, it is quite stormy and this was a calm day. This is the place were river Douro in Porto and Gaia cities, Portugal, meets the Atlantic Ocean.
