Yes indeed. Had been long that I admired these palm trees and wanted to photograph them in this angle. Over here in Porto, Portugal, they are referred as the seven magnificent ones. They are seven and quite very long lived ... if they could talk ...

They are in fact impressive. The view point from their base is also awesome. If you browse my gallery you will find a photo taken from their base covering the River and both Porto and Gaia cities. Just next to them there are two black mulberry trees and when they give fruit we can eat some if the birds like the black bird (Turdus merola) do not get faster :-) ... I also have a photograph of that showing a black bird feasting on them ;-)

Thanks. These Palm trees are indeed very impressive. They outline themselves on the horizon and are seen from many parts of Porto City as well as from Gaia city. They are very old also.

TY. Indeed it is, and since its just 400 metres from our door step, I often go there and enjoy these magnificent Palm trees and this perspective.
