Location
This photo was taken at Chittenango Falls in Upstate New York.Time
This photo was taken during the middle of the day.Lighting
Even with the photo being taken in the middle of the day, the lighting was not harsh as there were woods around.Equipment
I used my Olympus E-410, no tripod but I did rest my camera on the railing to stabilize the shot.Inspiration
I used to frequent this park regularly with my kids when I lived in Upstate New York. I went back to Upstate New York for my daughters wedding and had to share this beautiful falls with my husband.Editing
Not much as far a post processing, I was basically happy with how the picture turned out.In my camera bag
I always have my camera and a couple of lenses along with a fully charged battery. I also like to keep a couple of lens filters just in case.Feedback
My best advise is take a lot of pictures, make changes to the aperture and shutter speed to get different looks. If you have a tripod great, many times when you are hiking the tripod is a challenge. You can usually find something that could be used instead of a tripod, I was lucky and there was a railing right there which was the perfect height.
