Location
The Pic was taken at one of the beautiful West Coast beaches near our home. We are lucky to live in a beautiful place that provides so many opportunities.Time
It was taken in the middle of a fantastic sunny day, In the middle of summer.Lighting
Couldn't really ask for better natural ightEquipment
I was just experimenting with few snaps of the seagulls with my 75 - 300 mm camera. I was still learning at this stage, and didn't have a tripod or anything. This shot was more by accident than planning.Inspiration
My husband was fishing and the birds were hanging around arguing with each other, their antics were hard not to photograph. They can be very entertaining if you watch them for a while.Editing
With this one no, it was only cropped. I now use lightroom to tweek my images now that I shoot in RAW.In my camera bag
Not much equipment in my bag to tell the truth mostly its full of chocolate bars and lollies but other than that there is my camera and 2 lens - 75 - 300mm and 18 - 75mm and a small flexible tripod, I recently got some filters too but keep forgetting to use them.Feedback
Take lots and lots of photos and then take some more, some of the best pics are shot by accident! The best thing about digital is you can delete all the extras and find the gems hidden among them. Also take your camera everywhere you never know when you will come across something cool.
