Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in our home.

Time

The photo was taken in the early evening.

Lighting

No special lighting, just the lights that happened to be on in our house at the time.

Equipment

Nikon 1 V1.

Inspiration

I had just received a new lense for my Nikon 1 and was playing around with it as our cat sat watching me. The photo was a complete fluke, I just snapped it while learning to use the new lense.

Editing

Minor tweaks in iPhoto.

In my camera bag

Nikon 1 v1 and a Nikon d5200.

Feedback

I find that my best photos are those that happen naturally. Those that show snapshots of our daily life. For me, too much thought and purpose can ruin a photo.
