I took this photo of my daughter Zoe in my studio that is in my house. It was an bedroom before an studio.Time
It was taken in the middle of day in September of this year.Lighting
I used my cheap soft boxes that spent $80 on from Ebay.Equipment
My camera is a Canon 60D with a Sigma DC 17-50 mm 2.8 EX HSM lens.Shot it at 1/5 sec, f 3.2 at 100 ISO. Had it on my tripod. Black Diamond Cloth backdrop from Backdrop Outlet. I used Lightroom 5 to make the blacks darker.Inspiration
I just had bought this dress from Cracker Barrel and I could not wait to use it. My daughter hates posing for me and just gives me her I call her "I'm being a pill face". It was all for fun.Editing

Right now I only have the one camera Canon 60 D till I save up for the full frame... Speedlight 430 EX II, Hood man Hood loupe, Canon 50 mm 1.8 , Canon 18-55 mm 3.5-5.6, Canon 75-300 mm 1.4-5.6, Sigma 17-50 mm 2.8, Off bug spray, sunscreen, Hoya Filters and an small hand towel.Feedback
Start small, upgrade when you can. Always try different things. Practice, practice, practice. Fake it till you make it!
