The Grand Opera House in Beijing, China. It's called the Egg. During an evening without any wind, you can get a picture like this. The lower part of the photo is actually the reflection in water. I was really lucky to get a picture like this.

This is The National Centre for Performing Arts (NCPA), Beijing.Time
I was there by a lazy weekend afternoon. Suddenly rain started and I was searching for a shade. There were few more photographers that day to take photos of this beautiful architecture too. They fled :). After the rain, I came out of the shade and found the atmosphere is so silent that not a single wave was there in the water body. I was really lucky to get this picture.Lighting
The funny thing about the lighting is, the light changes in every few seconds. So if you want to take the photo in a certain color then you have calculate the timing.Equipment
I used my trustworthy Fuji X-E1 with Fujinon 14mm on my tripod.Inspiration
I was almost leaving, when I seen the reflection on the water. I started unfolding my tripod again and took some snaps. After those photos, I was really happy.Editing
Just made some minor enhancements like sharpening, vibrance etc.In my camera bag
I was using Fuji X-E1 with Fujinon 14mm for a long time. Now in my bag you'll find a Fuji X-T1, Fujinon 35 mm f2.0, Fujinon 10-24mm f4.0, some ND filters, circular polariser etc. With Vanguard Alta Pro 264AB tripod.Feedback
I would suggest other photographers who would like to visit this place, take time before you take some photos. The color on the egg is changing in every few seconds, so it would be nice to check first all the colors and calculate the timing.
