Location
This photo was taken beside Flemingdon Park Golf Club near the Don River in Toronto Ontario. This area is a hidden gem in the big city where there are many bike trails to roam or ride. Don't be surprised to see a deer or coyote pop out of the forest!Time
This was taken in late afternoon, early evening while walking my dogs back on October 15th 2022. The autumn colours looked amazing as I stepped onto the tracks & I had no choice to but to try and capture what I saw. My camera is typically hanging around my neck when I walk my dogs since I never know what I might see here!Lighting
The way the sun was setting and its rays reaching through the trees made for an especially good pic.Equipment
I shot this with my Olympus OM-D EM1 Mark III. Lens: 12-100mm F4.0Inspiration
Being a nature enthusiast I typically visit trails, beaches or anywhere I might see something interesting & I was just lucky enough to be there at the right time. The colours and the sun shining through the trees inspired me to capture this.Editing
With this pic I did some post processing to bring out the reds & oranges in a effort to match how I saw it in reality. In my camera bag
Usually in my camera bag I'm packing my Olympus OM-D EM1 Mark III with Lens: M.Zuiko 12-100mm F4.0 Lens: M.Zuiko 300mm F4.0 IS PRO x2 teleconverter I'm really happy with how compact this camera body is as it makes freehand shots a little easier even with a big lens!Feedback
If you haven't heard of the golden or magic hour, it's the last hour before sunset & it makes for excellent photos. I recommend going out at this time and being inspired by what's around you, seeing how the sun touches everything before it sets.
