Location
I was driving out in the country and came across several Sharptailed Grouse 4 were in this bush 2cflew off leaving these 2 and they remained in the bush ever after I stopped right across from them allowing me to get several nice photos of them.Time
It was around 9 am in the morningLighting
Nothing special about the lighting it was an overcast winter morning but bright enough to get some nice clear and crisp photos of this pair of Sharpies. I must point out it was after a foffy evening so there was some Ryme Frost on the branches of the bush making the shot extra special.Equipment
I used my Canon 90D with my Tamron 150-600mm lens which is my go to Wildlife gear I did not use a tripod nor a flashInspiration
I simply enjoy taking photographs of Wildlife and it is even more excitinf when you can get a nice closeup shotEditing
Because it was overcast out I had to do a small amount of editing to brighten up the photo a bit there was no cropping done as my lens allows me to get many closeup shots of wildlifeIn my camera bag
nd as a backup camera I have my Canon 80D as for lenses I carry and mainly use my Tamron 150-600mm lens but I also carry a Canon 18-135 mm lens a Tokina 11-16 mm lens and at times my Canon 100 mm prime lens. At times I carry a second backup camera my Canon T6s as well as spare batteries lens cleaner and my camera remote and tripod not usually for wildlife photos but for some Landscape photos wildflowers synsets and sunrises etc.Feedback
The big word of advice is patience also to get photos like I get and have gotten forget about your tripod because while driving around the countryside you will not have much of a chance to setup your tripodso it is either freehand or use your vehicles window for support.Another thing is camera settings as with the tripod you will not have much of a chance to play around with Manual settings so I use either TV or AV settings. In closing I will say good luck with your photograph with no matter what you wish to shoot and as for wildlife goes as I mentioned before use patience and eventually you will get those closeup shots .
