In Scottish mythology, a Kelpie is a water spirit often transformed into the shape of a horse which can be seen close or near open water, such as lochs and rivers ready to take any riders in to the water to never be seen again. However, a Kelpie can also transform into human shape ready to lure any passers-by into the water. The Kelpies are 30 meters tall and made of stainless steel by the Scottish artist Andy Scott.
