St. Johann in Ranui - an iconic place for photographers. I was amazed at how few "real" photographers (those who set up their tripod and waited for hours for the right light) I found there. It was always busy - people came, took a picture or two with their smartphones and left - but most of the time I was alone and could enjoy the atmosphere. Of course I wished for some decorative clouds and ideally some snow on the mountains, but I was not lucky enough. I had to learn again that as a landscape photographer you can't always take a spectacular picture with a dramatic lighting mood in every place.
