I wanted to take pictures with my wonderful ferrets that I rescued from a poor situation with their past owner. I love my ferrets and they make me so happy and make my life more worth living, so I thought I'd make them a part of my favorite past time.Time
This was indoors sometime in the afternoon.Lighting
Shot in a dark room using cheap lights with color change lenses that were propped up by stuffed animals.Equipment
Camera-nikon d5300. Polarizer lense attachment on a 25mm-55mm zoom lens. Small portable tripod as I was sitting on the floor. And no flash just cheap lights off Amazon with color change lenses propped up by stuffed animals.Inspiration
My ferrets are a huge part of my everyday life and I spend so much time with them and value them so much that I wanted to involve them in my favorite hobby.Editing
Very light editing process for this photo, just a little brightening and tuned up the sharpness, the ferrets are very photogenic. In my camera bag
I have 2 attachment lenses (polarizer and a sunlight one) a normal lens and a 55mm-75mm zoom lens. I always have sparklers and a lighter in my bag for random ideas as well as laser pointers and flashlights for light painting.Feedback
Get your adorable animal friends out and just mess around with different color lights, eventually they'll do something weird or super cute with their faces
