As a descendant of the Seneca war chief Cornplanter I have been researching war paint and facial tattoos in the Iroquois Nation. Many of our practices were forgotten due to the assimilation of our people through the residential schools. My great grandmother marital name was Redeye, and as a member of the deer clan I feel this look is pretty successful.
And if you ever want to learn about true "Indian givers" just google the Kinzua dam, and the cornplanter Tract.
