Location
Foto was taken in a forest near my home, in Bielsko-Biala (Poland). This is my favorite spot to walk with my children and take pictures. I love this place. This is so close to our home and we feel like in the backyard there. There are so many opportunities to get exciting frames. There are plenty of mushrooms, lichen, and moss full of life. Small beauties are overlooked by everybody, but not me.Time
Early afternoon. Hot day and a lot of people were walking around. This was Sunday, so everybody tried to relax with family before Monday. This part of the year is mushroom season in Poland. Polish people love to pick up mushrooms, and on Sunday there are a lot of mushroom fans in the forest.Lighting
Bright, sunny day, with sunlight flashing through trees. But close to the ground there was not so bright I wished to.Equipment
This was Canon Eos RP with RF 35mm 1.8 Macro lens. And flat stone as a "tripod".:PInspiration
I knew what I looking for in this spot. I have a few of my favorite places there. So I was looking for small mushrooms or lichen on the bark of a tree (specific one, with parts looking like trumpets). I was happy because I found a lot of tiny mushrooms. And unhappy, because I have to choose - have no time to picture everything. Minutes before taking this photo my children asked me to let them go further into the forest, to play hide and seek. I said: OK, but I want you in sight. When I so these tiny tiny two mushrooms and those two bigger ones behind them, I knew I got my scene. Mushroom family.Editing
Not too much. Just a few small color corrections in Affinity Photo and cutting to square. I'm an amateur and I still learning about post-processing so I'm very careful with this.In my camera bag
Not too much, and not the best in the world.:P I think my equipment is rather economic (considering money and weight too). My favorite lens for now: Canon RF 35mm 1.8 Macro on Canon Eos RP and EF 85mm 1.8 in my backpack. Two batteries, two folding board reflectors, small Velbon tripod. And Raynox DCR-250 converter.Feedback
On your knees.:P Heads down. Take your time, and walk slowly. Frames are everywhere.
