The flower of the Brisbane Mallee, (Plunkett Mallee) Eucalyptus Tree. I had to do battle with the bees and the Rainbow Lorikeets for this flower. I only picked the one flower. There are still plenty left for the wildlife and our native blooms are in mass at the moment.
