Blue Toung Lizard

Blue Tongue Lizard. This is an Australian lizard. We have them in our garden but we have only seen them a handful of times. They are 30 – 60 cm long and give birth to live up to 19 young,130-140 mm in total length and weighing 10-20 g

I took part in an Animal Macro event. I got to meet a bunch of creatures and some lovely people.
Some shots were taken with studio lighting and others with on-camera flash.
