This was a surprise capture this evening. In trying to ID this bee, I learned there are 45-50 different species of bumblebee in North America.

This little guy was singing away at the top of a small cedar tree.

The nighthawks were out particularly early here today. This is one of about a dozen that were busy foraging in the skies behind our house.

Had a visitor to the side yard this afternoon. He seemed to be enjoying the sunshine and the warmer temperatures.

Laying under a cedar tree waiting for ducks one morning this past spring. No ducks showed up, but this little guy stopped by to check me out....
