A single Dandelion seed, separated from the seed head, in Super Macro.
This is one of those small Dandelions that only measures about 10mm across (and, unlike the large Dandelions, have no stem).
As a gauge of the magnification provided by the reversed lens the seed is being held by a standard size alligator clip (the silver object in the lower left quarter).
