Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in front of my storage unit in Antioch California.

Time

If I remember correctly this pic was taken around 10am on a day with severe overcast. It helped to act like a soft box.

Lighting

It was a overcasted day and no flash was used.

Equipment

I can't remember if this was my Nikon d3200 or my d7200.

Inspiration

I love bicycles especially older vintage prewar bikes so when I was given this one the wheels in my head started turning rapidly. This bike was a Christmas present from my girlfriend. It's a mix of 3 different bikes paying homage to the board track racer of the early 1930s.

Editing

Mostly used Lightroom to over saturate the colors just a bit and darken the edges. Other then that it's pretty much point and shoot. I try for minimal processing.

In my camera bag

One of my favorite lenses to have is the sigma art lens 18-35mm f1.8. Great lens that is very crisp and clear.

Feedback

Do what you like and don't be afraid to experiment.
