Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in the Lake District. Friars Crag in Keswick.

Time

The photo was taken mid afternoon just as the sun started to shine through the tree tops.

Lighting

The trees helped quite alot with the lighting, The sun was just starting to shine through the broken clouds so the work was done by nature.

Equipment

Canon 4000D with EF-S 18-55mm III Lens, handheld no flash

Inspiration

It had been a fairly dull day, I wasn't expecting a break in the clouds. The lake district is a stunning place even on the darkest of days. The path leading up to Friars crag takes you to the most spectacular view point - hence light at the end of the tunnel.

Editing

Added a little brightening but nothing else.

In my camera bag

Always have a mini tripod & my Canon Powershot, small camera but pack a punch! Lens cloth, batteries & rain cover. Canon 4000D and extra lenses.

Feedback

I really didn't plan this shot, I seen the opportunity as the clouds dispersed. Take lots of shots, from different angles, if the weather changes - be patient!
