I have these porcelain showpieces on my tv table and thought to click images of it in black and white. So, I took an old bed sheet and placed it on a small table with showpieces on top of it. After that, I used an old lamp with yellow bulb to light the objects in the image. Also, there is a particular wall in my house with paint peeling off which I have used in this image as background because it matches the black and white theme. This way, I captured multiple shots of it in color and then converted it to black and white which gives this image a beautiful look.

I have used three porcelain showpieces as subject in this image. Next, I placed the subject on a stool with an old bedsheet under the showpieces. After that, I kept all of this in front of a wall. This particular wall has paint which is peeling off. Now, I clipped the study table lamp on side of the stool to light the subject from front.Inspiration

If you want to capture something vintage in your images, try to use showpieces or figurines that reminds you of old times. Also, use yellow light source to make your picture look historic. Next, try to use smaller light source, like a lamp, which will give the effect of a spotlight.
