This photo was taken on a road trip I went on, it was overcast & I thought it had a wild but peaceful look. As a beginner photographer, I try all different things & I'm super chuffed it was liked.Time
It was taken in the morning, probably around 7.30Lighting
It was fairly overcast & I think it made a better picture than if it was sunny, the cloud cover gives it an older look.Equipment
I took this pic with my Samsung mobile phone, so this time no fancy equipment. Which shows that a good photo is a good photo no matter what equipment is used.Inspiration
I had driven past this dam several times and never stopped, this time I was a bit earlier & decided to take a chance with the overcast weather....I figured it would make an interesting photo.Editing
I did do a little post processing, reduced the color a little to try make it look like an older picture.In my camera bag
I use a Canon 200 D, 50mm lens, 75-300mm lens & 35-55mm lens. Always a spare battery, cleaning kit & extra SD cards.Feedback
Being a beginner, the best advice I can give is to keep trying, keep experimenting....be ready to shoot because you never know what gift may be revealed to you.
