The Cape Giant Whiptail (Aspidoscelis maxima) is the largest lizard of the Teiidae Family of Whiptails and Racerunners.
It has a very limited range being found only in the Baja California Sur peninsula in Mexico, from La Paz to Los Cabos region and on Isla Espirtu Santos and Isla Partida Sur.
