This is Mont St Michelle, in France. Quite a unique island. You feel like you have just stepped back in time 100-200 years when you go there, kind of like 'Game of Thrones' type of feel. I recently took a workshop in Paris, and one of the days we caught a bus out here to this stunning location. We walked out in the afternoon 2 or so hours prior to this and two of the members sunk to their knees in quick sand. We didn't want to back-track around, so crossed at a point with knee-deep water, as our photography teacher went ahead and tested it out. Well, maybe not the option we should have gone for, as two of our group nearly lost their camera's. Our leader was quite the gentleman with such a servant heart that he dropped everything and went back to help them out of the mud, even cleaning their lenses. It was worth going there though. We were fortunate enough to get this gorgeous sunset. The things we go through as photographers. We all went out across the bridge in the rain, to capture those colours. I was heading back in, when the rain stopped and I headed back out. then the colour got even better and I got this.
