Ky Quang 2 Go Vap Pagoda is a temple nearly 100 years old. The pagoda is unique thanks to its different design from other temples in Saigon. The reason for this design is probably because the design was created by Venerable Thich Thien Chieu with imbued Buddhist thought.

Specifically, the overall architecture has the characteristics of "5 nos": No columns, no walls, no roof, no momentum, no doors. The pagoda consists of 18 mountains modeled after 5 mountains and 7 mountains (Ngu Hanh Son and That Son) and 11 caves. Based on the concept of Buddhism: 9 directions of heaven, 10 directions of Buddha, the pagoda was built in that architectural style.
