Being a flower lover I keep wandering in search of flowers. The never-ending search landed me on this beautiful flower in a Flower Show in Amritsar, India.Time
I explored a rich variety of flowers as I visited different sections in the Flower Show. After observing and capturing many different flowers I reached near this one at around 4-5 p.m. This looked spectacular, blooming in the daylight.Lighting
Clicked in soft daylight, this pic turned out to be pretty amazing. I wanted this half-opened flower to look like the "Star of the Show" as it already was in my eyes so I made sure to keep it in the limelight by adding shadows around.Equipment
I clicked it on my phone "Vivo Y21E" and no other equipment was used.Inspiration
I was in a flower show with thousands of flowers blooming all around me in pretty colors. Amidst all the vibrant colors, these white flowers were a stunner. I couldn't take my eyes off this White Ranunculus that was half-open and it was worth a shot.Editing
Since I took this one on my phone's camera, I had to do a lot of post-processing ranging from exposure to shadows. I experimented with a lot of adjustments to add a dramatic look.In my camera bag
Being financially dependent on my family, I currently do not have any fancy or professional equipment related to photography. It's all about passion and skills so I try to make the best use of my phone's camera and use any surrounding resource or daily objects as substitutes for equipments like tripod.Feedback
While capturing flowers, its important to pay attentions to details like the stage of bud and the surrounding leaves or buds. Take time to observe each flower on the plant individually to select the right flower for your frame. You can always experiment with angles.
