Growing flowers to feed native wildlife and photographing them is my passion. But the deer don't understand they aren't invited to the party! One morning I woke up to find many of my blossoms gone. I was sad and angry and muttered expletives the rest of the day. The following morning, in the same spot, was one little Poppy lifting with the dawn sun. It only takes one smiling flower to brighten the heart.
