Up in the mountains of Colorado, this was my view as we came over the top of a hill!

Extremely beautiful and way, way, out of the way dirt road cutting thru multiple fairytale like scenes in route to Routt National Forest.

Just unreal almost fairy tale feel of the area. Not gonna lie, reminded me a bit of the forest in Wizard of Oz....

Loved the look of this scene behind the drops of rain on the windshield....very abstract, felt a Monet vibe

Location

I took this photo last week going through Kansas on my first road trip west. (Indiana born and bred) I'm an amateur photography inspired by the diverse beauty that surrounds us and the authenticity and nostalgia unique to each town or region. I loved the power and serenity of the fields of turbines, and the Kansas sky was unlike any I had ever experienced....had to capture it!

Time

Evening, around 9 pm.

Lighting

I typically take pictures of what calls to me and then play with different cropping, filters, etc.. until I find the one I feel best highlights my initial inspiration for taking it.

Equipment

Just your basic android smart phone. Like I said. I'm an amateur...however, I recently realized how much I love shooting pieces of our surroundings that move me and hopefully others as well.

Just loved it!. My soul stirred and I wanted to share it.
