This was taken at Bar Harbor Restaurant entrance in Ketchikan, Alaska.Time
This was taken fall season night. Oct 5th, 2021 @ 8:18pm.Lighting
This photo taken during the night to highlight the business of Bar Harbor Restaurant. I also made sure to focus on the colors of blue and orange, utilizing color theory.Equipment
The cameras used was a Canon EOS R with a Sigma Art f/1.8 18-35mm DC HSM Lens on an Oben AC-1451 4-Section Aluminum Tripod with PD-117 Pan/Tilt HeadInspiration
My boss wanted photos of Cape Fox Corporation Commercial Businesses in Ketchikan, Alaska. This photo was one of 10 photos where the business was in color with surroundings in B&W.Editing
I use Adobe Lightroom CC for post editing. Main business was color with surroundings in B&W. First I usually focus on my lighting and contrasts edits then adjust the colors accordingly. I know Canon usually has higher reds so I tend to spend some time color grading. Lastly I then focus on masks in order to direct the viewer eyes where to focus. This is probably the most important part of my editing process that will properly highlight my photo. In my camera bag
I carry my Canon EOS R5 and three of the f/2.8 L series lens kit: 15-35mm, 25-70mm & 70-200mm. I usually carry my NiSi 100x100mm filters kit with the polarizer adapter. I also carry remote shutter controls and lens cleaning supplies. Along with my tripod.Feedback
I used HDR, multiple exposures taken with photos combined to create a better balanced photo. I decided to take photo at a low angle to give business a dominant position. Not only learn the various methods of photo composition but also color theory and post editing on Adobe Lightroom CC and use of masks.
