I was able to bridge the time in the early morning until the ground squirrels stuck their heads out of their burrows with a few butterflies. This time of day is usually ideal for butterfly photography for two reasons: the light, of course, but the cold-blooded butterflies are less active in the cool of the morning and remain still for the photo. Unfortunately, the latter didn't work this morning, because the heat of the day announced itself at five o'clock with temperatures around 20°C. But kindly this blue was very patient with me.
