Location
I was «baby sitting» my granddaughters cat, and the cat was going totally bananas when I was throwing the teddy bear around. So I got my camera, put on the 70-200mm, and placed myself so that the light and shadow would be perfect.Time
This was shot in the afternoon, so that the evening light from the roof window in the hallway would send the light through the door to the living room.Lighting
Just using natural light from windows together with shades from furniture and walls.Equipment
I used the Sony A7RIII and the Sony 70-200mm f/2.8 GMInspiration
Just seeing the citten having fun with hunting the teddy bear, and I had to get the camera and try to get some good images.Editing
I just adjusted the highlights and shadows in Lightroom. In my camera bag
What I have in my bag depends on what I am going to shoot. I always have my Sony A7RIII. I like to travel light, so usually I decide for maximum to lenses in the bag. When going for wildlife I usually bring my 200-600mm and my 70-200mm. When I am shooting landscape I decide what I am going to shoot with before the trip, always my filters (NiSi, and sometimes some round filters from B+W) either my 18mm, 25mm, 35mm or the 70-200. And I stick with that and compose the shot with the lense I brought with me. For street photography I always bring my 55mm, and some time one extra lense. 25mm, 35mm, or the 85mm. But I like to challenge my self to stick with only one lense. In studio I prefer the 85mm, but I also use my other lenses, and I have 2 Godox studio lights, soft boxes, umbrellas and more, 1 Godox AD200 pro and a Godox TTL flash.Feedback
Set the camera to manual, with main focus on a fast shutter speed, then set the aperture (depending on what field of view you want) and adjust the iso manually for each shot. High iso on today’s camera is no problem! I also use back button focus for action shots.
