I photographed this still life set up in my studio using some antique copper pots that I recently purchased for this purpose. No natural light was used in the making of this image, I used a 300 watt studio lamp six feet above the setup with a diffuser. My aim was to produce an image that resembled an old world painting of a still life. Digital post processing with three different programs allowed me to create the soft look of a fine oil painting on linen canvas. The effect is especially noticeable in the larger sizes.

Exposure at; F 4.8 @ 1-2 second; ISO 100; 110 mm focal length; no flash.
