I went up the hill for a landscape with my 400mm and I met this beauty of nature. Did my best with the 400mm!

Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo at „El Mirador de la Guardiola“, La Rápita, Spain

Time

It was at noon, sun was pretty high

Lighting

Actually I went there to take some landscape photos, cause one gets a very nice view of the Alfacs Bay and sorroundings. I I I had just my 100-400mm mounted on the camera and on my way downhill back to the car, I discovered this beauty.

Equipment

It was shot with Canon EOS 80D and a lens Sigma 100-400mm/5.0-6.3

Inspiration

The beauty and pose of the butterfly

Editing

I have just developed the Raw file with Lightroom applying minimal adjustments.

In my camera bag

At that moment I didn’t have my bag with me, but normally I take what I think it will be necessary according to what I plan to photograph , macro, wide angle, zoom, kit lens, filters

Feedback

To photograph butterflies you have to be patient or have luck!
