Location

This photo was taken outside a countryside house where this hamster named Rufus normally stayed indoors but on this lovely day, he was just chilling and thoroughly enjoying his cheese with such a nice weather.

Time

It was around 11.30 in the morning, not too cold nor too warm. It was the perfect time for Rufus to explore and enjoy some good time outdoors.

Lighting

It was a clear day without any clouds and Rufus looked really adorable. I did not use any artifical lighting, only the natural lighting.

Equipment

This picture was shot with a Nikon D3300 camera, without any flash.

Inspiration

I have always loved to take pictures of the animals because they are all unique and adorable. I like to keep memories captured because when you take a look on the photos, you remember the day when you clicked it and live the day once again in your mind.

Editing

I only gave the picture more brightning and contrast.

In my camera bag

I normally have my Nikon camera and my mobile phone, a Samsung. I do not have many photography accesories for now, but would love to get some in the future.

Feedback

As we all know, animals are difficult to capture sometimes because they are constantly in movement. I recommend to try to look for moments when they are still, for example in this picture Rufus is eating a cheese. Otherwise he is running from one place to another.
