This bird is a member of the Cockatoo family that we commonly call the Galah, but is also known as the Pink and Grey Cockatoo or the Pink Breasted Cockatoo. They are extremely common, outgoing, and can be very cranky at times, as demonstrated by this fellow who didn't like me getting too close.
