While visiting Trexler Memorial Park in Allentown, I came upon this common watersnake by the creek, enjoying the warmth of the stone wall. As I patiently remained still and calm, it realized I was not a threat, and we both just sat there on the wall, accepting each other's presence. I shot at least a dozen pics from various angles. At one point, the snake slowly and gently crossed over my leg as it made its way down to the water's edge. What an amazing, special photo op!
