Taken at dawn. I waited for the sun to rise.Lighting
Whenever I go on a cruise, I like to get up super early on the day we get back into port. I walk around at night and try different shots. Some long exposures. This one wasn't. I waited on the Forward Lido Deck of the Carnival Glory as it pulled into port and took the shot as the sun began to rise over the Westbank of the Mississippi River. The shot was taken in New Orleans.Equipment

Well in New Orleans, it can be very dangerous to walk around in the dark with camera equipment. I only did this because I was safe on a cruise ship.
