When you are sailing downwind in a small boat and you put the jib out on the opposite side to the mainsail, you are "Goose-winging". So it was fun to see this Barnacle goose demonstrating this with its own wings! We saw a small group of these Barnacle geese for the first time in the Nymphenburg Castle gardens today - a really nice change from the reasonably similar Canada geese, of which there were many of course! (Uploaded on the day it was taken)
