In the wake of of a global pandemic and crippling isolation, I was faced with losing connection with a few really close friends. I saw these mini hippie vans at a checkout at a local grocery store, and purchased 3.. one for myself, and one each for my two bffs that were forced to move away. I mailed them theirs, and now, whenever one of us is lonely and missing the others, we make little scenes using the vans, with the cation "Wish you were here", and it's like an admittedly cheesy way of still being toegther.
In this photo, I was sitting on the beach in Kincardine, Ontario missing our beach bevvies and memories, so I created this little camping scene to bring them home.
