My first trip to a sunny destination. Believe it or not, one of my top bucket list items was to see a palm tree in real life. To touch the trunk, feel the fronds, and relax in the shade of it's canopy. This tree was the first one I photograped solely for the tree itself. The horizontal external rings, the upward growing branches and downward fronds.. It's just so different from the maple and coniferous forests I'm used to seeing at home. Of course, I had to include the tiki hut on the dock in background
