Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in front of The Texas Theater in Bishop Arts District (Dallas, TX). I used Photoshop in post production to create a “comic book” appearance. I’m a self taught photographer and I love experimenting with new and different ways of not only taking a picture but also the many ways I can change the look in post production.

Time

This photo was taken around noontime on a sunny almost cloudless day.

Lighting

It was a bright and sunny day which made it a snap to capture some great shots.

Equipment

I used my Canon Rebel EOS T3, a UV lens, and photoshop

Inspiration

I was inspired by all the bright and bold colors as well as the retro feel of the area itself.

Editing

I used photoshop to produce the after effects of this pic. I’m an avid user of photoshop because of the endless possibilities it offers to make my photos look any which way I like.
