I put this carnation on my parents’ gravestone after receiving it at a memorial service for members of her church who had passed away since the Covid pandemic. My mother died of complications from a stroke. The church ceremony was just a few weeks after her passing, and they still hadn’t gotten her death date on my parents’ joint gravestone.
