Wonderful.
You have given 2020 a positive swing that is really (nice) positive, a contribution to the Year 2020 Collection. As always, the competition will be tough, which, as an added consequence, makes a possible victory taste very sweet. Good luck and probably for the … time: Happy New Year and stay healthy in 2021!

Great observations, love the way you framed the heart! Also...the muted colors behind the heart, shown by your depth of field, really adds a contrast this image.

I found this nature made heart in a fallen tree at Dobbs Park Nature Center in Terre Haute, IN. It was the second heart-shaped item of nature I have seen in Dobbs. The first was a heart-shaped rock.Time
It was mid-morning to early afternoon. I wouldn't have found it hadn't I had to go to the bathroom. I had gone to a park nearby to take a picture for a photo challenge. I needed to use the restroom but it was locked. So I walked to Dobbs, which I knew had open public restrooms. I took a walk around the park after using the restroom, and stumbled upon this heart.Lighting
I was more fixated on trying to get the zoom feature to work on my cellphone to capture the heart.Equipment
The shot was taken with my Google Pixel2XL. I used the crop feature to get the closeup of the heart in the log.Inspiration
Basically, it was just thinking, "Wow! Another heart in Dobbs! Take a picture of it!" I also belong to a Facebook group called Hearts of Vigo County where people share pictures of hearts and inspirational messages to get through the pandemic. Shared it there and got a lots of hearts back in the form of Love emojis on Facebook.Editing
It tool several tries with the crop feature on my phone to get the heart to show up.In my camera bag
Right now it's just my phone in my purse or in a pocket.Feedback
I just feel you need to keep your eyes open and become one with your surroundings.
